After answering the questions about design, layout and navigation, the two most very important questions become: Are you getting a lot of traffic and can people find your website in the search engines? Having a website is like having a place of business. If your place of buisiness is located in a great location, and a lot of people know about your facility, you will most likely have a lot of visitors. However, if your business is located in a remote location, and nobody knows your business exists, you will suffer from poor exposure. The same is true of your website.

If nobody knows your website exists, then you will not get any visitors. Many will promise to get your website to the top of the search engines while they take your money... Ask them to prove it. Ask them to show you one of their websites and prove that it is at the very top of Google, Yahoo, MNS.
